What We Do

The UZH Professorships Department is your point of contact for all your concerns as a professor at the University of Zurich. We’ll give you advice and practical support during the appointment process, throughout your employment with us, until you leave or retire – and beyond.

The Professorships Department is involved in the procedure for appointing professors at UZH, and assists the Executive Board of the University and the faculties with the various processes. In this capacity, we provide you with information on entering the country, finding a home, childcare, and life in Switzerland generally.
